10 Most Amazing Designs for Mobile Phones

First of all, I would like to say thanks to all of you, who enjoy my last post about Most Amazing Robots in the World. This encouraged me in creating another list of Amazing thing. I am keeping the number to 10 because you guys will not be able to enjoy it.

What I’ll do, I’ll keep posting these thing in parts. So let’s hear it.

Let me tell you that these designs are just a Concept; probably we will see these designs in the market in near future.

10. Asus Aura

This one is inspired by iPhone from Apple. The Asus Aura, produced by Hungarian design company Egy Studio for Taiwanese vendor. It was clearly inspired by iPhone, although it has some interesting innovations addressing commonly mentioned shortcomings of Apple’s cellphone.

The best thing about this phones is its movable navigation module with navigation buttons, another, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, that enables you to type in much faster and conveniently

Other features of Asus Aura include – 3,9″ touchscreen covering the whole surface of the phone, 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. All of this in a 6mm thick package.

9. TripleWatch

Is it Mobile Phone? This is exactly the same thing came to my mind when I first looked at this picture, but believe me, it is a mobile phone. It’s a cell phone, cum wrist watch cum alarm clock. Give this device few folds and it becomes an alarm clock, attach it with a wrist band and it becomes a wrist watch r else use it as a phone.

Take a look at the picture below and you will definitely figure it out.

8. NEC Tag

This is not what you are thinking about; this thing is also called a mobile phone. With standard keypad and all the features a standard phones has. It is foldable, hidable, but remember, it’s not wachable J.

Interesting is that the phone has shape-memorizing material and sensors that allows the phone to change its shape according to the mode.

At first, I thought it’s a Calculator, later figured out it’s a mobile phone.

7. Benq-Siemens “The Blackbox”

This all black design for mobile phone is one of my favorite as it is very sleek and people will believe that it looks like a mobile phone, unlike the other designs. Designed by Benq-Siemens uses a touch screen as its keypad and depending of the function you use, the touch screen changes the layout immediately.

This is the phone I would like to own.

6. Retroxis By Dark Label

It makes me remember Motorazar from Motorola, However being a concept design it qualifies to be a reality in a year or two.

If most phones presented here will never be sold in store for sure, the Retroxis concept phone from Dark Label looks kinda human, and makes us hope we’ll be able to get one of these one day. Designed by Lim Sze Tat the phone is encased in high polished polycarbonate renowned for its lightweight and toughness and has an invisible OLED display that silently hides away when inactive.

5. What You See is What You Get Concept

I haven’t used any title for this concept, it’s the name of this concept, I know its too long but, neither I nor you can read the mind of the designer.

Well, this concept no longer uses an LCD as a Viewfinder for Digital camera; instead, it uses a transparent frame. The integration is made through a touch screen

4. Benq-Siemes “Snaked”

Wow, is it a Snake? Certainly not, it is a concept design by Benq, I think the designer make it for his Wife or Girlfriend. A reptile looking phone for sport loving women,

Its not just a mobile phone, but a fitness freaking thing, it has body monitoring sensors t help ladies stay in shape.

3. Sky “Sleek n Slim”

Sleek & Slim” from SKY is another concept based on touch screen technology. The phone has a discretely glowing touchpad, hideaway keys and generally utterly-fashionable minimalist design

It Comes from Korea, and becomes the phone of the future. Looks like a photo frame to me.

2. Nokia Aeon

You must be aware of Nokia, or I think you must be using or have used Nokia Phones, They are most Reliable phones and the tough ones also, but they are always trying to change the standard look of Mobile Phones, this one is just another example of doing so.

Nokia Aeon was presented by Nokia on their website in the Research & Development section. What is so great about this phone is that it looks like it will actually go into production next February. Of course, its just a rumor, but still, makes us hope to actually see it someday in the GSM shop. All we know about it for now is that its a touchscreen phone and it looks fantastic.

1. Nokia 888 Communicator

If you didn’t agree with me from the above design, you have to believe me now, that Nokia has always been trying to change the standard look of a mobile phone.

Nokia Presents 888 Communicator

Nokia 888 Communicator is a striking futuristic concept phone. The phone, which uses liquid batteries, speech recognition, flexible touchscreen and touch-sensitive body cover,is designed by Tamer Nakisci and won the Nokia Design Award.

Now, that is all for this post, hope you liked my post, Do comment on this one too just like you did my other post. I’ll be happy to hear from you guys, that will encourage me find more unique and amazing designs for you.

I’ll probably be posting other 10 concept designs in a day or two and those will be from Automobiles , just let me know how you like it.
