US Dollar has been denoted by “$” even pound has its own sign.
Now Indian Govt is thinking of introducing a Unique sign for Rupee.
The Economic Times has put some suggestion sign for Rupee, Take a look and If you have got some thing to say then please go ahead.
All are looking crap, currency sign should be easy to make and these only MF Husain can draw. If given choice, I’ll vote for 4th one in first row.

The 4th symbol is actual represntation of the indian ruppee. Our national languague is Hindi and in hindi the indian currency is said as Rupaiya. So it symbolises it as in hindi and even in english as half R. So my votes go to 4th one.
