Those, who are not blessed with iPhone service right now, can enjoy web browsing just like they do on their computers.
Opera Mini, the Web Browser for Mobile Phones is very popular as it is the best Browser which can be used on any java enabled phone.
I Too use Opera Mini 4.1 and now will be upgrading it to 4.2.
Opera Mini 4.2 is still in its beta, but is said to be the best. Opera has really worked on the speed and beauty of their Mobile Brower.
This one is said to be the 50% faster than the old one and the data will also be compress, that means, people having a limited bandwidth connection, can actually save money.
Here is what they say about it
Opera’s mobile software uses a remote server to pre-process Web pages before sending them to your phone. Web content is compressed to reduce the size of data transfers, enabling fast browsing experience at low costs even on simpler phones.
So, Don’t feel bad, if you don’t own an iPhone, just buy any Java Enabled Phone, mainly with EDGE technology. Get a rich experience of surfing on your Pocket Machine.

As the news of 3G technology coming to India has arrived. All the mobile companies are set to make 3G compatible phones.
Sony Ericson is one of them. It has Declared that Phones will be having the power to shoot high definition videos and the internet speed would be mind blowing, by 2012.
The Cameras of phones will be having 12-20 megapixel cameras.
The terminal’s display will have XGA resolution. And the operating frequency of the application processor will reach 1GHz, he said. As for its telecommunications functionality, Ericsson expects the device to support 100Mbps or faster LTE.
The company considers that the market shift toward such a future mobile terminal is gradual. Current HSPA technology has a maximum transmission speed of 7.2Mbps, and 59 commercial networks are already operating around the world (38 of which are using Ericsson’s system), it said. According to Ericsson, 805 kinds of HSPA-compatible terminals have been released from 129 manufacturers thus far.
“HSPA evolution,” an extended version of HSPA, will emerge in late 2008 or later, with the maximum data transmission speed expected to rise to 21Mbps.
“W-CDMA, which has a maximum speed of 384Kbps, emerged in about 2002,” Lundstedt said. “The capacity of data transmission will have grown 60 times larger in the six years since then.”
Hope that all the Mobile concepts, which i posted few days ago, are now set to be in reality.
Buoyed by the response to its two models—the XC90 Sports utility vehicle and the S80 sedan—launched two months ago in the country, Swedish carmaker Volvo Car Corporation is planning to bring two more cars from its stable into the Indian market in the next two years. “We are considering to bring in two more cars into the Indian market, first from among the XC70, C70, S40 and C30,” Paul de Voijs, managing director, Volvo Car India, told FE. The company has, in all, nine different models in the global market. Volvo managed to sell seven vehicles within two months of the launch of the somewhat pricey XC90 and S80. The company now hopes to increase this number significantly. “We are too new to the Indian market, but see numbers rising to 45-200 cars,” Voijs added. The ex-showroom price (in Delhi) of the Volvo S80 D5 is Rs 38 lakh and that of the XC90 D5 is Rs 45 lakh.
In a bid to make further inroads into the burgeoning Indian market, Volvo plans to add eight or nine dealers to its existing three in Mumbai, New Delhi and Chandigarh, by next year. Volvo cars were to be launched in India in 2006, but were late by a year owing to delays in obtaining import approvals. “We are legally under Ford in India. However, decision-making, including choosing dealers, rests with us,” Voijs said. In India, Volvo relies on Ford for human resources, customs clearance, shipping, dealer transportation, credit, accounting and IT. Volvo’s vehicles for India are produced at the company’s Torslanda plant in Sweden and imported as completely-built units.
The company has no immediate plans for production in India, Voijs indicated. In Asia, Volvo assembles its cars in Malaysia and Thailand at present. Besides the metros, Volvo sees potential growth from Tier-II cities like Bangalore, Pune, Jaipur and Hyderabad. He says that the Indian market can be compared with the Russian market, where the company sold over 20,000 units, rather than China where it sold 10,000 units, this year. “We see a direct comparison between India and the Russian market,” Voijs said. The main competitors for Volvo in the country are BMW in the SUV segment and Audi in the sedan segment.
